Relational therapy and executive coaching for the patterns you cannot think your way out of.
You may understand yourself well and still find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, at work, or in the way you hold yourself. I work with thoughtful, capable adults and couples navigating trauma, identity, ambition, relationship difficulties, and major transitions.
My approach is direct, relational, and attentive to both emotional and bodily experience.

The clinical distinction
Insight matters, but insight alone is not always enough.
I work with people who may understand themselves well yet remain caught in patterns that reflection alone has not changed.
Together, we look beneath the surface, attend to what is happening emotionally and in the body, and understand the adaptations that brought you here. The aim is to create more room for freedom, intimacy, and choice.
Meaningful change happens through relationship: between patient and therapist, between mind and body, and between a person’s inner life and the life they have built.
Work with Chloé
Therapy and coaching for meaningful, durable change.
Individual and couples psychotherapy are offered through Modern Mind, alongside a distinct executive and career coaching practice.
01
Individual therapy
Many patients come to therapy with considerable insight. They understand the history, can name the pattern, and still find themselves repeating it. Individual therapy creates space to work with what may not shift through reflection alone.
- Relational patterns
- Anxiety & depression
- Identity & ambition
- Trauma & attachment
- Life transitions
02
Couples therapy
When partners become caught in a cycle, the problem is often larger than the content of any single argument. We look at what happens between you, what each person is protecting, and what makes closeness or repair difficult.
- Recurring conflict
- Communication
- Trust & intimacy
- Major decisions
- Rupture & repair
03
Trauma & EMDR
Traumatic experiences can remain present through memory, emotion, bodily activation, numbness, relationship patterns, or a persistent sense of threat. The work is paced without asking you to move faster than your capacity allows.
- EMDR
- Somatic attention
- Attachment trauma
- Regulation
- Integration
04
Executive & career coaching
Leadership and career decisions are rarely only strategic. They involve identity, power, relationship, fear, ambition, and meaning—and often the private costs of outward success.
- Role complexity
- Career transition
- High-stakes decisions
- Leadership
- Meaning

About Chloé
The life you have built belongs in the room.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, executive coach, and Director of Practice Development at Modern Mind.
My path to clinical practice includes 15 years in leadership and C-suite roles across finance, nonprofit, and technology. I understand high-stakes environments from the inside: the pressure to perform, the complexity of leading others, and the private costs that outward success can carry.
I am especially interested in the point at which a person’s established way of functioning remains impressive from the outside but no longer feels sustainable or fully true from within. My style is direct, curious, and active. I listen closely, offer honest reflection, and help patients notice what may be difficult to see alone.

Executive & career coaching
15 years inside leadership and C-suite roles
Leadership decisions are rarely only strategic.
They can involve identity, power, relationship, fear, ambition, and meaning. I work with leaders and professionals navigating role complexity, career transition, high-pressure decisions, difficult professional relationships, and the private costs of outward success.
Coaching is future-focused and goal-oriented. It brings psychological depth to practical decisions without becoming psychotherapy.

Practice details
The practical questions, answered clearly.
Questions about format, fees, insurance, and the distinction between therapy and coaching—so you can understand the practical frame before reaching out.
01Where and how do you meet?+
I meet with patients in person at 26 Court Street in Brooklyn Heights and online throughout New York. The best format for your work can be discussed during an initial consultation.
02What are your fees?+
Individual therapy is $300 for 45 minutes. Couples therapy is $350 for 60 minutes. Executive and career coaching is $450 for 60 minutes.
03Do you accept insurance?+
Modern Mind does not accept insurance directly. Monthly superbills are available for patients who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from their insurer.
04How is coaching different from psychotherapy?+
Coaching is future-focused and goal-oriented. It does not involve diagnosing or treating a mental health condition. If psychotherapy appears to be the more appropriate setting, I will discuss that with you directly.
05What happens in an initial conversation?+
We will discuss what is bringing you in, what you hope may change, and the practical details of working together. It is also an opportunity for both of us to consider whether the fit feels right.
06How does your work relate to Modern Mind?+
I am a psychotherapist and the Director of Practice Development at Modern Mind. Individual and couples psychotherapy are provided through Modern Mind; this site reflects my individual clinical perspective and executive coaching work.
07What is the cancellation policy?+
Each patient may cancel, reschedule, or miss up to six scheduled sessions per calendar year without charge, regardless of reason or notice. Beginning with the seventh patient-initiated change or missed session, the full scheduled fee applies.
